Our 3rd Grade students played Jenga to review for their MAP math test! 🟥🟦🟨
Students had to pick a colored card and answer the question correctly. If correct, they were able to move a block with that same color! Each color of card was programmed with a different math skill such as fractions, multiplication, time, etc.
Their hard work will definitely pay off!

Senior Parents: There was a typo in the recent letter. Graduation practice will be on Wednesday, April 30th! Seniors should be here at 8:15 for breakfast with practice to follow. 2 weeks until their last day!

Students in grades 9-11 have been requesting courses for 2025-2026. 8th graders will select their high school courses in a couple of weeks. Please talk to your student about their options and choices. Contact Mrs. Knaak with any questions or concerns.

The baseball game on Monday, April 21st at Tekamah has been bumped up to a 3:00 PM start. This is due to Tekamah having their Athletic Awards Night on Monday.

Congratulations to our FCCLA members who competed at State FCCLA earlier this week!
Lesly Sanchez - Entrepreneurship - Level 3 - Gold Medal🥇& State Champion - National Qualifier
Brian Rodriguez - Job Interview - Level 4 - Silver Medal🥈& State Champion - National Qualifier
Ryker Toelle - Food Innovations - Level 1 - Gold Medal🥇
Evelyn Sanchez - Interpersonal Communications - Level 2 - Silver Medal🥈
Martin Saldana & Siril Hickey - Focus on Children - Level 3 - Silver Medal🥈
Taylie Renner, Genesis Rodriguez, & Lexi Troyer - Food Innovations - Level 2 - Bronze Medal🥉
Lia Montenegro and Samantha Fehrer submitted an online STAR project and were also named national qualifiers in their event, Chapter Website.
We also had a team compete in the LifeSmarts & FCCLA Knowledge Bowl, which consisted of Collin Stigge, Jesus Montoya, Melanny Saldana, Hailey Recker, & Kaydence Voyles. They competed in an 8 team, double-elimination bracket. They came in 2nd place!
Last, but certainly not least, we have some amazing news to share on the state and national level. Samantha Fehrer was elected as the 2025-2026 Nebraska FCCLA First Vice President! Lia Montenegro was also approved as a national officer candidate to represent Nebraska FCCLA!

We are looking for volunteers to assist our people running field events at the track meet on Thursday, April 10th. Field Events would start at 12:30 PM and be done before 4:00 PM. If you are able to help, please email Jake Hohenthaner at jhohenthaner@wpcadets.net.
