FAFSA/Financial Aid Completion Night Stop by any time between 5:30 and 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 21st, in the Multipurpose Room for our Financial Aid Open House! Bilingual representatives from NECC will be also available to assist with completing your FAFSA, exploring scholarship opportunities, and answering your questions. This is a great opportunity to get the help you need to prepare for your future!

🥇NEW SCHOOL RECORD🥇 Congratulations to senior girl wrestler Jaden Schultz who has set the new school record for fastest pin. Jaden was able to pin her opponent in 8 seconds at the Beatrice Invitational last Friday.

The Speech Team traveled to Twin River to compete in their first meet of the season! The Cadets finished in 5th out of 16 teams! Individual results include: Claire Stutzman - 1st place in Informative Collin Stigge - 2nd place in Extemp Martin Saldana - 2nd place in Serious Collin Stigge - 2nd place in Persuasive Ally Wolken - 3rd place in Serious Katrina Moyer - 4th place in Entertainment Angi Berganza - 7th place in Entertainment Avery Frost - 8th place in Persuasive Jesus Montoya - 9th place in Extemp Claire Stutzman - 9th place in Persuasive Martin Saldana - 11th place in POI Dahlia Hernandez - 11th place in Serious Katrina Moyer - 12th place in Humorous Blake Wegner - 12th place in Extemp Wish the Speech Team luck as they travel to Wisner next weekend!

3 Years Ago in Cadet History… The 2021-2022 Cadet Girls Wrestling team had a fantastic season, which was also the year for the first ever combined state tournament in Omaha! The Cadets sent 5 wrestlers to the state tournament, including state champion Claire Paasch! 🥇 #throwbackthursday #cadetpride⚔️

This afternoon, some of our High Ability Learner (HAL) students in grades 6-8 competed in the semi-finals of Quiz Bowl, but lost the round 14-17 to Wisner-Pilger. It was a nail biter! They will compete in the consolation round. Good luck! #cadetpride⚔️

🏅 BROKEN RECORD 🏅 Congraulations to West Point-Beemer junior Peyton Penrose who set a new school record with 8 made 3 pointers in a game! Peyton broke the record tonight in the hame at Fort Calhoun!

Help us congratulate Mrs. Kelli Guenther, who was awarded the NECC Adjunct Instructor of the Year this morning! 🏆 Our Senior Calculus students (and Mr. Riley) were also able to attend the celebration to celebrate this incredible achievement with her—what a special moment.
