The West Point-Beemer Quiz Bowl claimed the East Husker Conference Championship last night in Bancroft! The team had victories over Wisner, Humphrey, Leigh (2), Lyons-Decatur, Twin River and then defeated Bancroft-Rosalie to claim the championship!
Team members were: Olivia Gross, Claire Stutzman, Jacob Dominguez & Collin Stigge. Head Coach is Nancy Guenther.

We have some events this week that have been rescheduled already due to weather.
The Varsity Boys Golf Tournament at Blair scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed to Friday. Start Time: 9:00 AM.
The JV Golf Tournament at Indian Trails scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed.
The Boys and Girls Track Meet scheduled on Thursday at Platteview has been moved up to Wednesday. The start time will now be 9:30 AM for Field Events and 11:30 AM for Running Events.

We finally got to host our annual home "Snowmelt" Track Meet today and it was a perfect day for track!
To make it even more perfect... your West Point-Beemer Girls and Boys Track Teams swept the team titles for the meet!!

On Wednesday, Mr. Schroeder and 6 freshman Cadet students were able to attend UNL’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) event on East Campus. It was an event to inspire underserved student populations to think about college and career choices. Dr. Lawrence Chatters, UNL Senior Associate A.D. presented a great motivational speech on overcoming obstacles to achieve their goals. They were even able to get a photo with Dr. Chatters!


Thank you to all of the 7th and 8th grade students that helped in the concession stand at our junior high track meet yesterday! Great work!

Tonight's Board of Education meeting is rescheduled for MONDAY, APRIL 15TH for a 6:30pm meeting in the media center. We will have a review of our history curriculum at 6:15pm that is also open to the public.


The annual Snowmelt Track Meet has been rescheduled for Friday, April 12th with a start time of 10:00 AM!
Since this is our home meet we are looking for a help! If you are able to help out please let either Mr. Hohenthaner or Mrs. Havranek know!

On Monday, April 8th at the 6:30pm Board of Education Meeting which is held in the West Point Public School's Media Center, Mr. DJ Weddle's 2024-2025 Contract will be voted on to approve his 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 Contract, along with the Schedule D. Mrs. Pribnow’s 7th grade math students have been working on the volume and surface area of composite figures. They created their own castles and then found the volume and surface area of the castles!
