The West Point-Beemer Speech Team traveled to Scriber-Snyder Wednesday to compete in the East Husker Conference competition! The team finished as Runner-Up in the competition! SURVIVE & ADVANCE! The West Point-Beemer Boys Basketball Team beat Wakefield last night 56-48 to advance to the C1-7 sub-district championship! The boys will now take on Wayne on Thursday night at 6:30 PM in Wayne! ***See attached updated bracket

The Future Problem Solvers Teams took to their lock-ins last night for their State Qualifying Problems! This year's problem refers to environmental protection and regulation of Antarctica!

Mrs. Hughes is having her 6th grade students interview people in the community who are in a field of work that the students would like to go into someday. They will then use what they learned during the interview in their informational writing project. The West Point-Beemer Cadet Cheer & Dance Teams competed at the State Cheer and Dance Competition this weekend in Grand Island! The cheer team finished 3rd in the C1 division and recieved the Academic Excellence Award! The dance team finished in 6th in the C1 division! #cadetpride

The West Point-Beemer Girls Basketball Team will travel to Grand Island Central Catholic next Friday! Game time will be 7:00 PM for the District Final!

The West Point-Beemer Cadet Girls Basketball Team has advanced to the C1-7 Sub-District Final after beating Wayne last night 46-28!! The Cadets now will play Omaha Nation on Thursday, February 15th at 6:00 PM. The winner of Thursdays game will advance to the District Final to be held on Friday, February 23rd at a location and time to be determined! Please see the attached updated bracket!

Today Mrs. Wooldrik’s 6th grade classes welcomed a guest speaker - Dr. Steve Hughes, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Nebraska Vet Services! Dr. Hughes gave a lesson on cow embryos, cell reproduction, and dry ice, which will lead into Mrs. Wooldrik’s upcoming lessons on Mitosis. 🔬🐄 Thanks so much for coming, Dr. Hughes!

The boys sub-district bracket has been released! The West Point-Beemer boys have earned the #2 seed in the C1-7 sub-district. The Cadets will travel to Wayne to take on Wakefield at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, February 20. See complete bracket below!
